Hello and Welcome

My name is Minos Alexias, and I live in the Netherlands. I am a High Priest (Minos), teacher, and initiator within the Minoan Brotherhood, an initiatory mystery tradition of witchcraft created for men who love men. In 2020 I founded the Grove Temenos Eromenos, through which I guide and train students who feel called to explore this spiritual path.

 

My journey into witchcraft began in the late 1990’s, and in 2002, I entered training within Alexandrian Wicca, one of the traditions of British Traditional Witchcraft. After eight years of study and practice I received my Third Degree, and founded my own coven, where I served as a priest and teacher for many years. This experience gave me a strong foundation in ritual, magical practice, and initiatory training.

Although this path was deeply meaningful, I always felt a longing for a spiritual brotherhood of men; a space where the mysteries of male love, Eros, and masculine spirituality could be explored more directly. That search led me to the Minoan Brotherhood, a form of witchcraft where homosexual love would be recognised as sacred.

Because there were no initiates of the tradition in the Netherlands at the time, I sought training abroad and eventually travelled to the United States, where I studied under Minos Leonidas. After a period of training and initiation I was elevated to the role of Minos, a High Priest responsible for teaching and initiating others within the tradition.

With the founding of Temenos Eromenos, my goal is to offer a safe and sacred space for men who love men to explore spirituality, magic, and brotherhood within the framework of the Minoan Brotherhood. My work as a Minos is not only to teach techniques of ritual and magic, but also to guide students in discovering the sacred power of Eros, and devotion as paths of spiritual transformation. Through mentorship, study, ritual practice, and community, students gradually learn to enter the living current of the tradition.

At the heart of this work lies a simple yet powerful vision: that love between men is not something to hide, but a mystery of the divine. Within that mystery we find Healing, Magic, and Celebration.

In addition to my work within the Minoan Brotherhood, I also work professionally in the healthcare sector, where I have gained many years of experience in caregiving, personal guidance, coaching, and supporting people in their personal development.

Over the years I have followed studies and training in nursing, psychology, spiritual coaching, healing practices, and theology. These fields have helped me develop a deeper understanding of the psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects of human growth and transformation. Alongside my professional background, I have also devoted many years to spiritual and esoteric study, exploring traditions such as Wicca, Rosicrucian teachings, Kabbala, and Hermetic philosophy.

This combination of practical caregiving, spiritual mentorship, and initiatory training strongly influences the way I guide students within the Minoan Brotherhood. My aim is to support others in developing their path with attention to personal wellbeing, spiritual depth, and the integration of body, mind, and spirit.
